Implement Bitvise WinSSHD's bvterm protocol in Putty [go]
Putty (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/) is perhaps the most popular ssh client for windows. It supports X11 forwarding and there is a unix port of it as well. Bitvise WinSSHD is a closed source ssh server for windows. In addition to implementing the xterm protocol, allowing most SSH clients to connect to it, it also implements the bvterm protocol available at http://www.bitvise.com/specifications. The purpose of this project is to implement the bvterm protocol in the putty client in a way that Simon Tatham finds acceptable for inclusion in putty proper.

I have created an Virtual Earth Map page that will help the user see where the location is.

Digital Tipping Point [go]
Some day, video editing using Free Open Source Software will be as common as word processing, once bandwidth hits a sweet spot.  That day has not arrived yet, so we are getting ready for that day now at the Digital Tipping Point.  We are giving away 360 hours of video featuring cool and interesting Penguinistas and GNUsters, as well as prominent politicians like the Mayor of Munich (Christian Ude) and Gilberto Gil, who was the Culture Minister of Brazil.  We need help with creating a check-in system and on-line video editing collaboration tool.  We need to be able to coordinate the editing of video, and, equally important, to have a MetaVid / Kaltura / Jumpcut / Eyespot tool that will help people get excited about creating video shorts and even feature-length documentaries together!

Have banshee treat playing from filesystem like totem does [go]
I dislike the filesystem queue intensely, for one I can't order it manually, and it's an ever growing list I have to delete occasionally, and if I watch a video and go to sleep watching it, often the entire list of videos I have watched in the past few weeks will play through. The only reason I use it is because adding every video I watch to the library is even more annoying.
